The 2007 World Police and Fire Games (WPFG) Paintball Tournament was recently hosted by Paintball Sports at Kuitpo.
Over 100 competitors from all over the world attended the event.
Paintball is the world’s fastest growing and third most popular extreme sport.
Australia is now catching up with the rest of the world, and this event was the biggest the nation has seen to date.
Our vision is to be the best Paintball Company in Australia, and this is a significant milestone in achieving our goal.
As a prelude to the WPFG, the South Australian Paintball Players Association hosted a 2 day national tournament immediately prior to the event.
That meant there was an unprecedented 5 days straight of competition paintball in SA.
This event was the culmination of two years planning and preparation
Paintball Sports is the only paintball company in South Australia to have gained National Tourism accreditation.
This provided the Games organisers with the assurance that we were committed to quality business practices and professionalism.
The following letter of appreciation presented to Paintball Sports demonstrates we delivered on our promise:
“Dear Peter & Steve
RE: 2007 World Police & Fire Games
On behalf of the 2007 World Police & Fire Games Corporation we would like to thank you for providing the Games with a first class venue for the Paintball competition.
Your venue was an integral part of the competition and contributed to the most successful Sporting Program ever in Games history.
Competitors, spectators and Federation Director’s would like to pass on their sincere thanks and appreciation for a superb venue which held such a professionally run competition.
It was a pleasure working with you both over the last year and I wish both of you and Paintball Sports best wishes for any future endeavors.
Yours sincerely
Susan Diver-Tuck
